Fitness Classes

Our fitness classes are designed to accommodate people from age 12 to 90+.  Each participant is encouraged to progress at their own rate.  It is our job to offer the challenge and the participant’s responsibility to respond according to their fitness level.  Each class begins with an outdoor warm-up followed by a short walk/run.  The rest of the class is conducted indoors – following the general descriptions below.

Classes

  • Cardio and Kickboxing

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6:00 am – 6:50 am           $4.00 per class

This class includes cardio activity associated with running, kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, punching and kicking.  Instruction is given for receiving the greatest benefit and using the proper form for injury free exercise.  Punching bags, weights, kettlebells and jump ropes may be used.  Music is upbeat and promotes mental stimulation toward greater output of energy.  Group participation and support also provides necessary motivation toward continued participation.  Elements of fitness are addressed in various manners.  These include flexibility, balance, self-confidence, personal development, spirituality, strength building, breath control and nutrition.
  • Core Strength and Weight Training

Tuesday, Thursday 6:00 pm – 7:15 pm         $5.00 per class

This class affords each student more individual instruction and encouragement.  Each student is challenged through running and rapid movement along with lifting weights.  This has proven to be the secret of weight loss and the building of bone density.  Another portion of the class is dedicated to core physical fitness, which involves push-ups, bench press and abdominal work. Exercise intensity increases as students strengthen.  Other aspects will include balance, flexibility, movement, and grace; taught through a variety of exercise forms and stretching.
  • Seniors and Beginners Class

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 am – 9:00 am (Adults up to 90+)         $4.00 per class

Class begins with a brief warm-up followed by a walk of about ½ mile.  Then we move indoors and work with weights, kettlebells, bodyweight exercises and stretching.  Each person is encouraged to only work at their individual level as this is about personal growth.  We encourage form and technique rather than heavy weights.  Most importantly we encourage a fun atmosphere and developing a feeling of community.

Custom designed weekend seminars are also available.  Free consultation appointments are offered as well.

No contracts.  You only pay when you attend.  Can be paid monthly.
